At The Fit Factory, “fitness” does not simply refer to the types of products we sell, it is indicative of a way of life. There is no magic pill or potion that will change the enthusiasts physique. Change occurs with a long term goal, achieved thru short term accomplishments. The supplements we sell are merely the tools to bring those accomplishments to fruition. Each enthusiast has (or should have) a very specific picture in mind of how he or she wants to look. Our job, goal and passion at The Fit Factory is to guide the enthusiast to the safest, shortest route possible in an effort to yield positive physique changes.

About The Fit Factory: The Fit Factory was established in December 2003 to provide the Modesto fitness community with an affordable/knowledgeable alternative to larger, less intimate retailers. Our initial focus centered around weight loss and muscle gains. From that time, we’ve shifted our focus to meet our customer base with a more holistic approach. The Fit Factory now offers supplementation for everyone from the novice gym neophyte to the most advanced athletes. Our newest venture will allow a more focused and detailed program for the customer. Diet, training, and supplementation will all be integrated into a goal specific package(s) allowing the customer the freedom to pick and choose how their budget is best utilized within our facility.
Austen is the original owner and operator of The Fit Factory. An avid athlete in high school, Austen tired of team sports by his junior year. It was at this time that training at a local gym really encompassed his time and passion. Competing since his senior year in high school and into college, Austen was bit by the bodybuilding bug. Austen has been able to take that passion and make it his career- to truly help others succeed in their fitness goals. Over the years, Austen has gained extensive knowledge in nutritional supplementation, diet and weight training. Through trial and error, Austen has learned what works best to yield great results. Once you’ve talked to Austen, you realize how deep his knowledge and understanding of fitness goes- he really is a wealth of information- our faithful clients and customers are proof of this.
Kimberly has always been athletic, played sports, and has been in the gym since right out of high school. Over the past few years, Kimberly was more and more interested in learning about weight training. In her spare time, Kimberly could be found reading magazine after magazine on nutrition and weight training- she had this new found passion to learn how to change her body. In the Spring of 2006, Kimberly went in to The Fit Factory to compare prices on protein powders. Happy with what she found, she continued to patronize the store. On her very first visit, she had met Austen; the two unexpectedly hit it off… They were friends for a few months, sharing emails and texts, before they realized that they were just meant to be together. That following Fall, they married!! Then came Isabella; the beautiful, spunky daughter of Austen and Kimberly. She is their motivation to strive for bigger and better.
As a couple, Austen and Kimberly make a great paring… Both are enthusiastic about fitness and all it entails. Their hope is that when a customer leaves their store, they have gained a better understanding of how to make all their efforts in and out of the gym a success. After all, that is why Austen opened The Fit Factory in the first place- to help others!!
